Sister Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus
A nice collection of prayers, litanies and novenas may be found here. Yes, this community is a part of our Roman Catholic family. Fully approved.
Founded 2004; Contemplative
See pictures of two new American sisters after taking vows on Orbis Catholicus.
Leading a non-cloistered contemplative life, the sisters offer their daily prayers and sacrifices particularly for the priests of the Institute and the souls entrusted to them.
It is through their principal patroness, the Blessed Virgin Mary under her title of the Immaculate Conception, that they seek to conform their lives and their whole beings to the Royal Heart of Her Divine Son--thus their motto, In Corde Regis ("in the Heart of the King").
This Institute (Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest) describes its spirit:
"Cook the truth in charity until it tastes sweet" — this famous quotation of St. Francis de Sales is the principle of our apostolic work. Fruitless discussions or, worse, uncharitable polemics never help to attract souls to the Lord. Again, St. Francis de Sales said, "One drop of honey attracts more bees than a barrel of vinegar." The revealed truth of our Holy Catholic Faith is in itself attractive because of its depth, brilliance, and logic. Wherever it appears clothed in the beautiful garments of charity, it becomes ever more acceptable to those who might otherwise fear its inevitable consequences for our lives and the sharpness with which it cuts through our weaknesses and our excuses.
